2022-02-22

From April to December 2021, electricity support was provided for underprivileged residents of Seongdong-gu as an energy inclusion program for the TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY  Jungang Water Recycling Center MOU.

Because of climate change, the weather was recently showing an increasingly polarized trend  extreme heat in summer and extreme cold in winter. In addition, many people are facing greater mental health and economic challenges due to the prolonged Covid-19 and social distancing.

Being fully aware of the current climate change and the Covid-19 pandemic issue, TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY is conducting an Electricity Support as an Energy Inclusion Program"It included residential energy efficiency improvement by installing LED lights and emergency support programs for extreme heat and cold.

The program exchanged old lights to energy-efficient LED lights and old electrical outlets to energy-saving ones. This allowed residents to maintain a healthy lifestyle without increasing their energy bills.

The support program also included the provision of cooling and heating supplies to prevent illnesses caused by heat or cold.

TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY continues to pursue energy support programs to underprivileged populations and welfare centers in Seongdong-gu in conjunction with with Jungang Water Recycling Center since 2018.
