Techcross Water & Energy Signs A JDA for Photovoltaic Power Project in the Philippines with Korea Energy, KIND and CSFirst

Techcross Water & Energy Inc. (representative director: KIM Jung-Chul) announced that it has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for a photovoltaic power project in the Philippines with Korea Energy (representative director: YU Hyang-Yeol), Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND, representative director: HEO Gyeong-Gu) and CSFirst (representative director: KIM Hyeong-Gi).

 

The signing ceremony was held at the head office of KIND in Yeoui-do on the 17th (Thurs.), attended by the representative director KIM Jung-Chul of Techcross Water & Energy Inc., the representative director YU Hyang-Yeol of Korea Energy, the representative director HEO Gyeong-Gu of KIND, the representative director KIM Hyeong-Gi of CSFirst and their officers and employees.

 

This agreement aims to pursue a photovoltaic power joint-project of a scale of 100MW in the Bayambang region in the Philippines, where the parties will perform ▲ project development, ▲ design and ▲ construction and operation & management.

 

Cooperation among the parties with different know-hows in photovoltaic power projects is expected to establish a foothold for business expansion to the new and renewable energy market in the Philippines and to provide a solution for power shortage issue in the country.

 

An official of Techcross Water & Energy stated that “The Philippines is one of the representative countries suffering from power shortage. We hope that this project will help resolve the unstable and short power supply problem” and that “other than photovoltaic power, (we are) expanding our global business into other new and renewable energy sectors, such as ESS and fuel cell.”

 

Meanwhile, Techcross Water & Energy is an integrated environmental service provider that engages in water treatment projects, such as domestic and overseas pure·ultrapure water and other industrial water supply, sewage and wastewater treatment and sewage reclamation, waste to energy, air pollution reduction projects, and development, design, construction and operation of photovoltaic power, ESS and other renewable energy projects.
