TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY (CEO: Kim Jung-chul) announced on the 24^th (Wed) that it had received the Presidential Commendation Award for the Group category at the 2021 Carbon Neutral Green Business Grand Awards.

Held by the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and sponsored by Maeil Business Newspaper and the Korea Environment Corporation, the Carbon Neutral Green Business Awards feature some of the most prestigious awards in the domestic environment sector for the growth and expansion of the “green business” industry.

TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY has contributed to carbon neutrality by conducting eco-friendly projects that include domestic and overseas water processing, atmospheric pollution prevention, and renewable energy, and also by providing solutions to reduce, reuse, and recycle resources. The company’s efforts have earned it recognition for expanding the green business industry through the formation of eco-friendly business policies. TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY also acquired the ISO 14001 certificate, a standard for international environment business systems, and received the honor of being awarded the Presidential Commendation.

TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY is currently concentrating its efforts on the development, acquisition, and verification of eco-friendly technology by conducting joint research tasks with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy targeting “standalone energy desalinization technology,” in which sunlight is used to produce energy and to operate a desalinization facility that provides drinking water.  

TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY is leading the way in reusing resources and solving the industrial water shortage problem in regional communities by conducting a sewage water reclamation project in which leftover sewer/waste water from homes and factories is processed into industrial water through a polymer membrane.
